Meagan has been teaching yoga and Pilates since 2011 on the West Side of Indianapolis. She has completed a mat Pilates certification as well as reformer training with Balanced Body. She received her yoga training at Peace through Yoga under the teachings of Christine Yovanovitch, completing her training in 2015, Rocket Ashtanga training with the Rocket Vinyasa Systems as taught by Larry Schultz from Amber Gean Espelage and advanced yoga teacher training with a specialty in vinyasa yoga with senior teachers Ahna Hoke and Michelle Finch at Exalt Yoga in 2023. Yoga helped her face some of life's challenges and through yoga, Meagan became a witness to her own physical improvement and spiritual changes. Now, as a teacher, she finds joy in witnessing the same growth and development in her students. This ability to explore oneself and evolve physically, mentally and spiritually through yoga is what ignites her practice. Meagan's classes reflect her energy and passion for yoga. She invites her students to find their own strength and peace.

She is an IN native and attended Avon High School where she played sports and was both in the band and color guard. She attended Olivet Nazarene University where she studied communications and Santa Monica College where she studied dance.
Tiffaney found success early on with a clothing and shoe sponsorship from Nike, and a grant with world fit for kids where she had the honor to teach inner city middle schoolers dance.
Tiffaney has been fortunate to have had worked performed all over the world as well as in the US. Tiffaney has taught and trained with multiple fitness formats and has recently completed her BASI Pilates training both The Foundation and Graduate Programs which covers all apparatuses for Pilates and mat.
She realized early on in her career it wasn’t fame that made her happy but the connections and ability to help others through movement that fulfilled her and made her the happiest. She has taught young to old, professional to novice and everything in-between.
Tiffaney moved back to IN with her daughter in July 2020 and is happy to be back in her home town of Avon.

Steph struggled for years (okay decades) to find an exercise regimen that worked for her – until she tried group fitness classes. She soon realized the energy of shared sweat was the secret sauce she was missing, and she has been hooked ever since. After trying Pilates on a whim, Steph recognized it was the perfect complement to her interest in strength training and running. She is a Balanced Body certified instructor, and she enjoys finding new ways to interest and challenge her clients on their journey towards sustainable wellness. These days, Steph couldn’t imagine life without exercise, and she hopes to bring that energy to her classes.

I'm Stephanie, a fitness enthusiast who has lived all over the country as a military spouse and am always on the lookout for my new fitness home. Most recently I was a manager at Cyclebar, an indoor/outdoor cycling studio in Monterey, California. When I’m not running my two kids to school or practice you can usually find me training for road and trail races. I’ve run two marathons - the USMC Marathon in 2018 and the Virtual Big Sur Marathon in 2020 - along with countless half marathons, 5K's and a few trail races. To balance out all that running, I have found a new passion for Yoga and Pilates. I instantly liked the vibe at Inner Balance and recently became a trained Pilates Instructor. I hope to help guide others to find their new fitness home too and invite you to come join with me for classes at Inner Balance.

Nancy first stepped on her mat over 15 years ago; drawn initially to the physicality of the vinyasa practice, she stayed once she realized the residual meditative effects remained long after the practice ended. The mat was the one place where her mind could become quiet and through the breath connect with the body. Since 2016, she has enjoyed helping to guide her students to tap into the mind body connection while teaching vinyasa, slow flow, gentle, restorative, chair or yin classes. Rooted in the firm belief that the world needs more yogis, Nancy is committed to making her classes accessible to her students and applies a functional approach to her teaching.
During her 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher trainings, Nancy became fascinated with learning more about the 8-limb path of yoga and yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda, a 5,000 year-old medicinal health system. She is a certified Chopra Ayurvedic Health Teacher and Chopra Meditation Teacher. As continual life learner, Nancy values her many teachers and all that she learns from the students she serves.

Yoga saved me. I broke my neck in 1981 which left me with constant, chronic pain (my neck, shoulders, back, and hips were also hurt). After decades of misery and thousands of dollars seeing a chiropractor, the pain remained. Fast forward: I'm 49, overweight (thank you, menopause), stressed, and unmotivated. Then, within a span of 4 months, I lost my dad, got divorced (after 25 years), and put my dog to sleep. Wait, I promise this isn’t a country song! In 2013, my [oldest] daughter's mother-in-law (a yoga teacher) took me under her wing and changed my life with yoga! Eight months after starting, all my pain went away and after 1 year, I'd lost 80lbs and I was happier and more relaxed. I became a certified yoga teacher in 2016 to shine my light and help others enjoy the same amazing benefits possible with a regular yoga practice! I'm 200-hr yoga certified, a Yoga Alliance E-RYT, 200-hr paddle board certified, Yoga Shred certified, Barre certified, 750-hr Yoga Therapist.

Chris Yovanovich began her yogic journey in 2003 after a long battle with fibromyalgia. She was initiated as a Kriyaban after studying 3 years through Paramahansa Yogananda’s Self Realization Fellowship. Her focus was primarily on breathwork and meditation. Since she felt so much better without ever stepping into a yoga class, she went straight into Cityoga’s 200-hour yoga teacher training to learn more about the physical practice of yoga. This allowed her to completely heal and after working 10 years serving as a social worker in long-term care, she decided to dedicate herself to sharing the healing aspects of yoga with as many as possible. She began by teaching yoga full time at Cityoga from 2006-2010, as well as teaching at several small to mid-sized businesses and schools in the Indianapolis area.
Chris then began her yogic journey at Peace through Yoga in 2010. She designed and taught their first nationally accredited 200-hour yoga teacher training and continued with 10 more yoga teacher trainings. She eventually designed and taught 3–300-hour yoga teacher training. She continued instructing at PTY for the next 5 years leading several trips to India and Costa Rica. Along the way, she designed and taught an accelerated version of 2–200-hour yoga teacher training at Butler University with Dr. Sally Bassett.
In 2016, Chris opened Indiana Yoga Studio located on the downtown square of Lebanon. The historic building that she and her husband renovated served them well. During that time, she led 8-200-hour yoga teacher trainings and 3-300-hour yoga teacher trainings, before they sold the building after the pandemic hit. Over the course of those 5 years, Chris also taught 5-200-hour yoga teacher trainings at Christian Theological Seminary with theologian, Dr. Helene Russell. The most recent group graduated in December 2023. Integrating this training into 3 semesters of classes focusing on Viniyoga (yoga therapy) gave way to a groundbreaking marriage of yoga with the Master of Divinity and Mental Health tracks of study.
Chris has been married for 21 years to her best friend, Tim, and they are blessed with a loving daughter, Sophie, who is a sprinter for Indiana State University’s track team. Outside of yoga, Chris’ hobbies include writing and performing music, reading, cooking, spending quality time with family and friends and travelling.

For Jamie, yoga is not just a fitness routine but a spiritual practice and lifestyle.
Jamie has been facilitating yoga, pranayama, and meditation classes since 2011 when she received her 200-HR teacher training from the Amrit Yoga Institute. She has taught a variety of styles including hatha, vinyasa, yogalaties, yin, chair, and restorative. Qigong, kundalini, reiki, and yoga nidra are other practices Jamie has experience with and she will often incorporate aspects from each into her classes.
Jamie believes that mind-body-spirit wellness is key to creating a happy life, and she loves both teaching and learning about all the ways to do this. In addition to her yogic experience, Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, is a trained crisis intervention specialist, an Ojima Reiki I Level practitioner, and has a multitude of personal growth experience.
In 2012, she immersed herself in yogic ashram living at the Ayurveda Health Retreat where she lived and worked for nine months. Along with teaching several weekly yoga and meditation classes and performing in their kirtans, Jamie learned about the science of Ayruveda and its practical applications. In 2013, she completed the 28-day residential “Living Yoga Training” at Swami Satchidananda’s ashram, Yogaville, where she lived, worked, and breathed yoga. In 2014, Jamie taught at Sage Hills Healing Center and participated in their kundalini yoga teacher’s training. In 2018, she partook in a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation course that deepened her understanding of this technique and strengthened her personal practice, as well as her ability to offer presence to her students. Ecstatic Dance, Holotropic Breathwork and the Wim Hof method are other modalities she has found helpful on her healing journey, along with fasting and a health-conscious diet.

Jodina is a registered nurse and found yoga quite by accident. Her journey began with martial arts where she received her blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She decided to take a break from martial arts due to experiencing some injuries. Initially, she began practicing yoga for the “work-out”, and then realized there was so much more to yoga. Her passion was ignited, and she was committed to learning more. She has received her RYT-200 Certification from Cityoga and loves to share her passion for yoga!
