 REFORMER PILATES AT INNER BALANCE

Our Reformer Pilates program is thoughtfully designed to meet you exactly where you are—whether you’re brand new to Pilates, building strength and confidence, or ready to challenge your practice. Each class level emphasizes intentional movement, proper form, and purposeful progression, allowing you to advance at your own pace while enjoying a balanced, full-body workout.

Explore the levels below to find the right fit for you and discover greater strength, stability, and confidence on the Reformer.

Led by highly experienced, dedicated instructors, our classes consistently deliver innovative, educational, and results-driven movement in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Classes

REFORMER FOUNDATIONS

Reformer Foundations is a slower-paced, supportive class designed to help clients build confidence while learning the core principles of Pilates. Ideal for:

  • First-time Reformer clients 
  • Seniors or clients with aging joints 
  • Clients returning from surgery or physical therapy (with medical clearance) 
  • Anyone easing back into movement after time away 

Classes focus on alignment, breath, safety, and proper movement mechanics, with thoughtful options to modify or gently progress. Expect a welcoming environment where you can move at your own pace while building a strong foundation.

Recommended progression:
Clients are encouraged to complete 6–8 Foundations classes before advancing to Reformer Level 1 — Essentials.
No prior Pilates experience required.


LEVEL 1 - ESSENTIALS

Level 1 Essentials is the next step after Foundations and offers a moderately paced, engaging workout that blends education with movement. This class continues to emphasize proper alignment, posture, and controlled execution while building strength, coordination, and confidence on the Reformer.

Modifications and progressions are offered to support individual needs and safe progression.

Recommended entry:
Completion of Reformer Foundations or prior Reformer experience.

Recommended progression:
Clients are encouraged to complete 8–15 Level 1 classes before advancing to Level 2 - Intermediate.
Suitable for clients returning from injury or post-natal with medical clearance.


LEVEL 2 - INTERMEDIATE

Level 2 Intermediate is designed for clients ready to increase challenge, intensity, and flow. Classes feature more dynamic sequencing, stronger spring combinations, and endurance-building work to develop full-body strength and coordination.

Optional cardio bursts, jump board work, or light weights may be incorporated while always prioritizing safety, alignment, and control. Expect a continuous workout with the signature Inner Balance shake, sweat, and burn.

Recommended entry:
Completion of Level 1 Essentials. Instructor approval strongly recommended.

Recommended progression:
Clients are encouraged to complete 15–30 Level 2 classes before advancing to Level 3 -Advanced.
Not recommended for clients who are pregnant or recovering from injury.


LEVEL 3 - ADVANCED

Level 3 Advanced is designed for seasoned Reformer clients with strong body awareness, strength, and control. Classes feature advanced choreography, athletic spring combinations, balance challenges, and precision-focused sequencing.

Expect a faster pace, complex transitions, and intentional intensity that challenges strength, stability, coordination, and focus.

Recommended entry:
Completion of Level 2 Intermediate and instructor approval required.
Not recommended for clients who are pregnant or recovering from injury.


REFORMER + LADDER BARREL (45 MINS)  * COMING IN FEBRUARY

This dynamic class blends Reformer strength and flow with Ladder Barrel mobility, sculpting, and spinal work. Clients rotate between both pieces of equipment in a seamless, full-body format designed to enhance strength, flexibility, posture, and core connection.

This class alternates every other week at the 6:00 AM time slot to keep your practice balanced and engaging.

Recommended entry:
Prior Reformer experience required. Instructor approval recommended for first-time participants.
Not recommended for brand-new beginners unless Foundations has been completed.


PILATES REFORMER STRETCH

Pilates Stretch is a slow-paced, restorative class designed to help you unwind and reset. Expect longer-held stretches, dimmed lights, and calming music for a deeply relaxing experience.
Suitable for everyone.


PILATES TOWER

In Pilates Tower, Reformers convert to a tower setup with mat work and spring resistance. Using the spring bar, push-through bar, and hand/foot loops, this class offers a refreshing variation on traditional Reformer work while building strength, mobility, and control.
Suitable for everyone.


PILATES MAT

Mat Pilates focuses on the core—or “powerhouse”—as originally designed by Joseph Pilates. This class builds strength, stability, and control using body weight and intentional movement to support posture, balance, and injury prevention.

Suitable for everyone.


MATITUDE

Find your core confidence with a little Matitude! This 45-minute, full-body Pilates mat class blends pelvic floor conditioning, abdominal rehabilitation, functional strength training, and light cardio. Designed to help you reconnect with your body from the inside out, Matitude improves posture, core control, strength, and stamina—leaving you feeling empowered and supported.
Suitable for everyone.


LADDER BARREL - ESSENTIALS

Build strength, flexibility, and confidence with the fundamentals of the Ladder Barrel. This class focuses on core strength, spinal mobility, and flexibility, using the rounded barrel surface to support both extension and flexion. Classes may include seated, lying, and standing exercises with ladder rungs used for support.
Suitable for all levels, including beginners.


LADDER BARREL - INTERMEDIATE

Designed for clients ready to progress beyond the basics, this class introduces more challenging movements, including side-lying work, dynamic variations, and introductory inversions.
Best suited for clients with prior barrel or Reformer experience seeking a higher level of challenge.

 **  Classes at Inner Balance require a minimum of 2 participants to proceed. In the event of a cancellation, which may occur up to 2-3 hours before the class start time, we will notify you via text or email.
